Baby Shower!

So Saturday in between sessions I ran out to attend a friends baby shower! We havent been friends for very long and we met in tap dancing class just last year! This girl is amazing she has 4 weeks left and has not missed a single class!

She came in last week for a quick belly session and we had so much fun! I decided to use some of the images as shower gifts.

We have recently started offering The Belly Signature Board. For those of you that have never seen one we use one of the images from your belly session and frame it with a wide mat that people that attend your shower can write a little note and sign it! It is great to hang in the nursery so that you are reminded of how much support you have with your little one! It is definitly something you will have for years to come! (see pics below)

The other thing I did was wrapped her gift with plain kraft paper and took 4 other images from the session and used double sided tape to attach them to the paper. When she unwrapped the gift she had 4 removable images for her scrapbook or to frame!

Anyway, I cant wait to meet this little one! I am sure that she will have tap shoes on as soon as they find some to fit her! :)

He is a Cutie Petutie Peanut

So this little one came in this morning for his first formal portrait session and he brought mom and dad with him!

He was an angel! Not a peep out of him besides the occasional coo. He was a total "poser" and he was LOVING the lights! I think he may have a future in Modeling for sure! We did get a couple of smiles out of him but I thought these were so cute that I wanted to share them!

So I wanted to give a little peak of what we got for his mom and dad. And of course that means YOU get to see them too! :)

Family Portraits with the Birthday Girl!

We celebrated a big First Birthday here at the studio!

Baby S has been coming in on a regular basis for her first year of portraits! This is her Birthday session and she came in to Party!

First we did portraits of the entire Family (we do this usually for the newborn session and then again for the birthday session).

Then we did a special portrait of her with her 3 brothers in some special clothes (but I have to keep SOMETHING a suprise for their presentation... maybe I will share those later!) :)

Then, we wrapped it up with the traditional "Mashing of the Cake"! That is always THE BEST and this was NO exception! With every bite we got a loud squeal with it! I am going to show you a few from the cake part of the session - cant you just hear that squealing from where you are?! :)

There was a birthday in the hoooouuuuse!

YES! This has been a fun filled couple of days here at here at the studio!

It was birthday's Galore!

For those of you that didn't know (but you will now) that when one of our babies turn 1 year old we celebrate with Cake! Thats right! They get their own little birthday cake to do with what they want!

Well this little one did what I would like to do and dove right in (literally!) she went face first into the yummy sweet frosting and came up with a smile and wanted MORE! Lucky for me my camera and I were more than ready to capture it all!

But before we got the the yummy part... the cake, we managed to get some great NEAT images of her all clean sporting some pretty cute outfits!

Here is a sampling from our session..... Enjoy!

Valentines Day is coming!

Here is a sweetie pie with a big ol' lollipop to prove it!

We had a really fun session with her and her mom a few days ago and because she did so well she got this heart lollipop (and we got some unexpected images with it)!

This was a combination 3 year session for "A" and Belly session for mom! We did some fun things with both ladies!

Here are a couple from the session....
