Crazy Week!

I am sorry to everyone that has been checking in for new posts! It was a crazy week and I am just trying to keep up with it all! But I did want to post a few images so you can see what I have been up to!

The first couple of images her are of Megan and Meredith (thanks for your patience Megan I know you have been itching to see these!) Meredith was one of my easiest babies to photograph! She is so laid back and just a very easy baby to get a smile from! Megan is special to me because when Bellies and babies Photography was young (not THAT long ago) we got a spot on NH Chronicle and I needed a Belly model for the segment and Megan agreed to be that model! We had never met before that day and she was great! Then she brought her baby in every 4 months for portraits!

Meredith is her second baby and we are starting all over again! So a big thanks again Megan! Your babies are beautiful and you make a great mom!

The other two images are of Kassie. Kassie has a smile that won't quit! She has only been in America for 2 weeks (that is when she got her new family!). Kassie doesn't speak much english but it didn't matter! We had a great time and she LOVED the pretty dresses she wore and posing for the camera! WELCOME HOME Kassie!!!

Until next time.....

Family Portraits

These are a few images from a session that I did last night.

Everyone was great! We did a whole lot of poses. The girls were incredible (and so were mom and dad). It had been 8 YEARS since they had their last portraits created so it was time - apparently from what mom told me they girls had changed alot! ;0)

So I am including a small variety of what we did. The girls requested images with each of ther parents alone so this is a sneak peak (they wanted to see them so bad last night that they looked at a couple IN the camera when we were done so I told them that I would post a couple for them to see before the presentation appointment).

Tell me, who wouldn't look back at these portraits and be glad that they made time to do this? This is a great age for kids to have their own special portraits taken with their mom and dad! I am sure these girls will treasure these FOREVER!

So here ya go! You guys are great! I will see you soon!

Expecting #3!

Today I had a family that I have had the pleasure of photographing many times before! It is so much fun to watch my families grow and change - one of the things I love about my Bellies and babies profession!

Jessica almost didn't make it in for this session! She thought she was having the baby yesterday BUT here they are! The kids are just so sweet and I think they did a great job (Seth even came up with an idea for a picture on his own!- see the one of mom and the kids- great job Seth and Megan)! Steve you did great too!

What a wonderful family this is! Thanks guys and I will see you all when your new baby arrives!

Until next time.....

Sneak peek for Hanna

I had a senior session on Monday. I don't do a ton of them although I LOVE to do them and would love to do more!

Hanna came in looking for some images taken in the studio and some outside, so we decided to have part of the session in our garden. This is the second year that I have been working on making this a great place with a little privacy for anyone that wants to have portraits taken outside with out a crowd gathering around to see what is going on!

Hanna (who has amazing eyes by the way) brought her mom Heidi with her for the session which was great! Her mom knew what to say to get a true smile out of Hanna and really make those eyes sparkle! By the way, Heidi was the park instructor near my house when I was still in school for 2 summers. She was awesome then, and is still alot of fun (she still looks the same as she did then!)

So thanks to Hanna and Heidi for a great time, here are a few images to "hold you over till your presentation session! I will see you both soon!

Until next time!

Weeee'rrree Baaack!

Well, sorry this has been so long. We finally arrived home after a great vacation and I have been working everyday since trying to catch up! But, I finally see the light (mostly because I finally got out of the basement for something to eat!) The sun looks nice!

Seriously, we had a great time. We ended our vacation with a trip to Syracuse to stay with my husband's professor from college and his wife! They have a beautiful house in Pompey Hollow. The kids had a blast seeing the deer, rabbits and geese that walk through his field constantly! They really had a hard time leaving. We are already looking forward to the next visit! Thanks Larry and Mary Ann for a great time!

We were able to get one last fishing trip to the lake in before we really had to call the vacation over. I am including some images in this post for you to see what a time we had this past week. I caught the most AND the largest white perch of the night! (I think my husband came to the realization that I am a better fisherman than him!- just kidding honey!)

Vacation At Last!

We are half way throught vacation! This is the first time that we have EVER taken 2 weeks in a row and it has been great! We have taken the kids to Story Land in North Conway and we stayed at the Hampton Inn (because they actually have a Indoor Water Slide- actually 2 for adults and 1 for kids!)

It was perfect! We planned to arrive on the ONLY bad day this week and stayed at the pool all afternoon (the kids never got bored in fact my son went back after dinner till 10!). The next day we went back for about an hour in the am and then we were off to Story Land! It was great! I highly recommend it - we totally avoided the stress of getting there by staying over the night before which made for a great day for everyone!

I will post some images later when I have a few extra minutes. And, I have some new images that I need to post of my recent Bellies and Babies sessions before we left. AND, I have some great news to share....

So, Until next time!
