I do it 'cuz I love it!
Greetings everyone...
During a session I did this am I was asked why I decided to do what I do. The answer is because I LOVE IT and I believe in the importance of capturing the special time in your life that only lasts for 9 months!
In the total scheme of things this is an extremely short time to be pregnant and by having your portraits created the memory will be preserved. It MAY be the only time (unless you decide to have another baby) that your body changes so much, that you feel so alive, that you actually glow, and that you can feel this new little life inside of you-moving and growing!
We photograph birthdays, the first day of school, graduation, weddings, why not pregnancy? None of those other things could happen with out it.
I just celebrated the 4th Anniversary of the Bellies and Babies Photography venture when I decided that I had found my calling and decided to focus primarily on Prenatal and Newborn portraits and I haven't looked back! I believe so strongly that this is what I was put on earth to do that I gave up weddings and comercial work (what most photographers cosider their bread and butter) almost immediately! I wanted to be available for woman when they decide to capture this time in there lives so that memory is not left behind once the baby arrives!
The reason I do what I do is because I believe in it, I am pasionate about it, and I LOVE it!!!
