Sheeeee's baaaack!

Little Miss I came back to see me recently! And she has gotten soooo big! Such a change from her itty bitty newborn session! You may remember seeing her family/newborn session about 6 months ago... she is something else!

The expressions she gave me - oh my! And she is already loving her pearls! What can I say? The girl has good taste!

So here is a sneak peak for her mommy and daddy and for all of you too!

Miracle Baby

Baby B came in this week for family and baby portraits!

She may look like a newborn at first glance but she was actually born in JULY. She just recently hit her 10 pound mark and is doing phenominal!!!

She was able to come off her oxygen long enough for the session and her mom describes her as a miracle - after all they have been through. And, after hearing the whole story you would agree that she truly is a miracle baby! She weighed not much more than a pound at birth and spent the first 99 days in the hospital! But she is now home with her VERY proud Mommy and Daddy and doing great!

Here are a couple of the images we got from this session I wanted to share with you!

Thanks for looking!

Time for Mama's! in time for Valentines Day!

Yes, This is just for MOMS!

We have introduced our "Mama's Still Got It!" division of Photography by Nylora!
The kids can't have ALL the fun! ;)

Call me today for a Valentines Session and if you are one of the first FIVE mom's to schedule an appointment your session fee will become a credit toward the prints that you order! Don't miss out on this one!

Not sure if you can do it alone? Bring some friends and EVERYONE can have fun! Make it a Girls Night Out! I promise it will definitly be something different and get rid of those winter Blahs!

Hope to see you soon!

17 degrees on Saturday......

but that didn't stop this expectant mom!

She had a vision of exactly what she wanted for her prenatal session and I was NOT going to be the one to tell her she couldnt have it!

So, when she pulled out a scarf and asked me if I would be willing to do some images with it, in her boots OUTSIDE I said "YES!!!"

Anyone that knows me knows that there is really not too many things that I wont do for great portraits! After I asked her if she knew how cold it was outside and she said she knew, I could tell how much she wanted this!

Lauri, her hubby and I all bundled up in our coats, boots, and scarves (yes, I did feel a weeee bit guilty) and she got on her scarf, boots, and robe we headed out to the garden!

This is one of the images that we got! I can wait for her to see the rest!
And I am also adding another one that we took in the studio!

Thanks J and J for allowing me to capture this special time in your lives together! You guys are so much fun and I wish you the best in your future as a family!

HAppy New Year!

Ok!

So here I am. I am going to get back into the swing of things after taking some time off after a crazy holiday season!

I will be posting some images from end of last year (to try to catch up) and then we will start new with the sessions I have had since the beginning of 2010!

Also, we are FINALLY working on updating the website! I will let you know as soon as that is up! We will have a monthly special page and a Whole New Gallery! So watch for that announcement!

See you soon!

Inspiration......

Being that it is the busiest time of the year here at the studio and we are working MANY hours a day to get everyone's orders done for the deadlines, the Bblog has taken a back seat for a few weeks. (Plus, we have had trouble getting images to load.) So if it took any time at all to make it work, I moved on to something else! I apologize if you are waiting for updates... I am trying to play catch up now.

This family came in last week for a family/newborn session. And they came with Inspiration!!! (I love those sessions!)

Daddy had a few tattoos, but the main one that caught my eye was the one on his forearm that had their name!!! I new that we HAD to incorporate this into a couple of the images! So below is one of my favorites! I think it came out amazing!

Another of my faves was the Rock Star Blanket for the baby! Just as I snapped this image he put his fist WAY up in the air as if to say "I AM a RockStar!" It was perfect!

So I hope you love these as much as I do... it was such an incredibly FUN session!

Baby C and a rainy day

Today Baby C came in for his portrait session, but, he wasn't too happy that his moment to shine was planned for a rainy day!

So we pulled out ALL the stops including snacks and 3 wacky woman singing "itsy bitsy spider". As you can imagine THAT was enough to get his attention for a few minutes and I was able to get some great images!

Here are a few that we got! Hope your day gets better Baby C - we love you even if you dont love rainy days! ;)

btw for those of you that are interested.... Denise, Lauri and Nylora will be performing "itsy bitsy......" nevermind... just kidding! ;)
