This is how the actual set is coming together.  There will be a few more things under and in the tree.  We recommend dressing in either green, white, reds with accents of black.  You can go Formal or pajamas - whatever memories you want for the Christmas of 2011 with your family!

This is the set in the making as I write this!  It just feels magical to me!  it is so light and airy and festive all in one!  This is a great set for Boys or girls (and moms and dads too)!

Even smiling in her sleep!

This little one came in this week for her newborn session!

The moment I swaddled her and picked her up to get her to sleep she looked at me and gave me a huge, mouth open, sparkly eyed smile!!!  Now, that may not seem like a big deal BUT she is only 3 weeks old and I promise you it was NOT gas!  :D  She is truly something special and I cant wait to watch her grow throughout this first year of  life!

Just look at these images and you will see exactly what I mean!  Precious!

Belly Couture

As most of you know last year we added a new direction to our Belly session and called it "Belly Couture".  Well, we are back into the swing of summer time and have begun our on location sessions again.

If you are interested in more information about these very special prenatal sessions please contact us so we can discuss your ideas for your session.  Do you love the beach?  Are you a woods girl?  How about a quiet stream?  Let your imagination run wild.

These portraits are pieces of art that will grace your walls for a lifetime.  So if this is your first pregnancy or your last we want to make you look and feel your best and capture you in an heirloom portrait, that is all you!

What's been happenin'!

The past 2 months have been a bit crazy.  Not just while I have been here at the studio but we (Lauri and I) have been doing some traveling for both speaking engagements and conventions.  If it weren't for my AMAZING husband none of it would be possible.

If you haven't hear the news already at our own NH Professional Photography Association (NHPPA) I was awarded a Court of Honor Award as well as a Kodak Gallery Award for an image titled "Unseen Masterpiece".  Unfortunately, I am not yet able to post the winning images here (or anywhere- yet) because we still have National Judging to go and if any of the judges see the prints they will have to disqualify themselves from judging it - and I need all the scores I can get!  :)  BUT, I promise that I will post once they are done judging there!

I have to say that the woman that I used to create this image is stunning when she is expecting and I know this because it is her 4th baby and I have been fortunate enough to photograph her and her family many times before.  So when she came in for her belly session this time I knew that I wanted to create something amazing (knowing that this is her last baby) we needed to "go out with a bang!"  LOL  and that we did!  :)

In addition to the awards for Unseen Masterpiece I received the Peoples Choice Award for an Image titled "Bound by Despair".  Thi was a huge honor since it was voted on by my peers!  I am still thrilled!   3 of my other entries received Judges Choice Awards!

I also was given my "Colleague of Photography" (C.Ph) Degree though NHPPA.  This is a degree that is earned by volunteering time, entering images into the state print competition, and winning awards for prints.  It is an honor to have finally reached this level.

So I can say this has truly been a great year for me photographically speaking in NH!

These are a few images from the awards banquet in NH. (taken by my friend and colleague Jeni Sophia Courounis Leonard - Thanks Jeni!)

Tiny dancer

This little one is a regular at our studio :)  She comes to visit us every 4 months for updated portraits and will be getting a Legacy Album that will tell the story of the first year of her life all in one place!  I believe this is the best gift you can give to your child especially in an age where everything is digital!  Our prints and albums are meant to be forever, in a place that you can go and pull it all out any time you like and not have to worry about "nothing being on the screen" when you are trying to open an old file!  In digital there are no guarantees.  But with prints there are!

So this is baby T.  You have seen her before and you will see her again!  :)

These are just a few of the beautiful images that her mom and dad picked out to have made into prints and we wanted to share them with you!  You can tell she loves her daddy and mommy is hoping that she follows in her footsteps as a dancer!  :)

Just hanging around! ;)

Baby C came in to see us last week although.... she never REALLYopened her eyes while she was here!

If she is not the PERFECT little baby I am not sure who is!  She litterally slept through the whole session.  Between her and her 2 big sisters (who I have also had the priviledge to photograph as newborns and beyond) I think she wins the award for most relaxed!

We had so much fun with her and she didnt even know it!  I love when her Mama brings the girls in for a session... she ALWAYS brings the most "bestest" clothes and props!   So here are a few that we got from this session last week right before leaving for NorthEast Regionals! (More on that later!)

How sweet IS she?????
